The Live Well Community Cafes are a community initiative set up by MAC Clinical Research to support people living with chronic conditions.
The Live Well Community Cafes will provide fun, entertainment, advice and guidance to anyone living in South Staffordshire that has been diagnosed with or cares for someone with an illness or condition that has changed the way they live, whether that be diabetes, heart disease, dementia, Parkinson disease, fibromyalgia, arthritis, depression & anxiety...the list is endless.
The Cafes are free of charge for anyone to attend and will provide an informal meeting place for people to get together, share experiences and most importantly gain advice to help them live better with their condition.
Workshops and entertainment will be on offer at each cafe, ranging from live music, local comedians, dance groups, craft workshops, animal therapy, art for health, gentle exercise, first aid demonstrations and much more.
Afternoon tea will be served to all attendees including, hot and cold drinks, biscuits, cakes and pastries.
Guest speakers from local NHS trusts, local councils, and community support groups will also be on hand to talk about services in the local area.
